The Banksia Park Habitat Group has strong neighbourhood support and works in a small bushland remnant in Banksia Park, St Lucia, near the University of Queensland.  The main aim of the group is to remove weed species and replant native vegetation, creating a wildlife oasis in St Lucia with stepping stone potential for fauna movement linking to the Brisbane River and nearby rehabilitation sites.
