What better way to start a Saturday morning than to explore the beautiful Brisbane River reach along the Tarcoola Track. Again we start at the impressive local rehabilitation site showing improvements along the river and at the mouth of Sandy Creek. Native vegetation is thriving and in parts very different from other sites in our catchments.

Birdlife is abundant and benefitting from improvements to the riparian sites and also using the mangroves.

If you have never been there before, you will want to get to know the area. If you have, you will want to come back.

Please wear closed walking shoes and protective clothing. BYO binoculars and water bottle.
