We have chosen a weekday for our bird walk as the walking tracks on this side of the mount are heavily frequented by walkers which not only makes it difficult to hear bird calls but also leads to small birds retreating. Nevertheless, our local bushcarers know of the amazing birdlife and are keen to share their knowledge and hopefully their sightings with others. This is Lyn Cole’s own rehabilitation area. Her intimate knowledge of habitat and known birdlife will enhance the experience for everyone.
