Join a dedicated group that has been working since 2000 and is responsible for a much improved environment alongside Witton Creek at Moore Park. Uncounted Chinese elms, Camphor laurels and other woody weeds have been removed and replaced with native provenance. There is plenty of work left to be done, with weed removal and general maintenance key focus areas. The park is also a recovery site for Pararistolochia praevenosa, the only vine in Brisbane feeding the larvae of the threatened Richmond Birdwing butterfly.

Join a great team once a month, learn about the environment and enjoy our beautiful outdoor areas, help create habitat for our native fauna species and improve corridors for wildlife movement.

Please wear protective clothing, BYO gloves and water  bottle. We have the rest.
